There names are Officer Tim Veteto, and Officer Michelle Veteto. They were appointed
Officers of the 2nd Judicial District, and the 3rd Judicial District, and chose to build a
Teddy Bear Program
for children in crisis and a Seat Belt Safety
Awareness Program.
They are
trying to instill, in children, the importance
of wearing a seat belt. In an effort to do so, are giving away free teddy bear
s (stuffed animals), to Hospital
ER's, Ambulance Services, Police Stations and Fire Stations. The teddy bears have a tag on them that says, "I WEAR MY SEAT BELT"AND "GOD LOVES YOU"
They decided to do the Teddy Bear Program all over the United States having complete freedom to go and come as
they please and own there own patrol car.

They are not affiliated with any other organization. This is not a local program. Tim and Michelle Veteto have traveled as far away as Florida and Michigan giving Stuffed animals to many individuals along the way. They have been doing this since October 1, 1999 and have already given away over
52,500 stuffed animals,
to children and others at various places. Giving nursing homes lots of stuffed animals for the Elderly and they love them.
Also giving
30
Wheel Chairs and many walkers away. Each Teddy Bear given away has a story behind it that ends with a smile.
There are over
52,500 stories
so far and more to come.
Jimmy Johnson receives free WheelChair.
They have access to many very nice stuffed animals that
would cost quite a lot of money but get them at a very low price and buy them their selves in most cases. Some are even donated to them. Their both 49 years old and say they have done and seen many thing
s, but giving these stuffed animals to children and the elderly, has been one of the GREATEST things they've have ever
been a part of. The Teddy Bear Cops would like to invite anyone at anytime to come
and join in the fun of giving away stuffed animals. It is GREAT!!!
In the I WEAR MY SEAT BELT PROGRAM. (Just think if we save the life of ONE child how GREAT ! !
that could be... )If you would like them to come to your School, Hospital
, etc. Please feel free to call, email or write anytime. Sincerely Officer Tim Veteto Officer Michelle Veteto
